Blockquotes and blockquotes within blockquotes
Use blockquotes to quote someone. Here’s the first blockquote:
To create a blockquote like this, use use the “b-quote” button in the Wordpress editor when in Visual mode, or surround your quote with
<blockquote> ... </blockquote>while in HTML (WP 2.3 and earlier: “Code”) mode.
And here’s another blockquote, this time with a second blockquote inside. Use this to quote a quote, or even quote yourself, if you will:
Trying out a link within a blockquote here. Not many, if any, themes will have a special styling for such a link though. It’s good enough if it works.
This is the blockquote within a blockquote. It should stand out and not look like yet another blockquote after the one before.
This is the end of the main blockquote which contains that other blockquote from above.
Blockquotes are not hard to style but they can break in IE6 if there’s a background or a border around the blockquote and the theme author didn’t look close enough.
